If our homeowner families are the heart of Habitat, our volunteers are the soul. There are many ways you can join in our life-changing work in the community. Depending upon your interests, you can assist with a building project, Critical Home Repair project, volunteer at our ReStore, a fund raiser, a Board committee or even join the Board of Directors.
Give us a hand as an individual, bring a friend, as a family, church group or local organization. Register yourself or as a group and follow volunteer schedule at mecostahabitat.org\volunteers or download the Civic Champs App for your convenience.
Volunteer opportunities:
Phase 1: New store face-lift. Demo, and plenty of it, stud-walls, drywall, painting, grinding and shining concrete floors, constructing a handicap accessible ramp and more. Hoping to start scheduling crews mid-March.
Phase 2: New ReStore set up, packing existing ReStore, moving all items to new ReStore and displaying for sale. Anticipate scheduling early summer.
